Incoming call issues(airave) after OTA

after the latest OTA for the EVO, when in airave coverage, i cant get incoming calls. i can make calls, my data is perfect but no incoming calls. ive reset it(airave and phone), my internet and router and still have the problems. my wifes hero and my brothers EVO still work(in airave coverage). anyone else have anything similar?

rooted unrevoked
rooted stock 3.29

airave support is baffled, they dont seem to know what to do. theyre putting an 'engineer' on it she told me.

your rooted. you probably broke something along the way of downgrading. its clear from your post the airave is not the culprit since others are able to use it.

did you tell them you were rooted? lol probably not.

it would seem on the outside that its an issue with your rooting procedure. if you have stock rom radios and versions on your handset and are still having issues then its the phone.

let me ask, when you say you cant get incoming calls, what do you mean? do they roll directly to voicemail?

are you able to use the airave at all for your outgoing calls? do you have the latest airvana model with 3G support or just the first voice only version?

can you leave the house (in essence 'away' from the airvana/airave's coverage area) and get incoming calls?

do you use google voice?

I have airave and receive incoming calls and rooted. You must have messed up something in process. Dis you check and make sure your number was still listed for airave to get calls I found out if it not it seems to block not in list.

Re: Incoming call issues(airave) after OTA

i have been rooted for months. been using virusrom since i rooted. i flashed a rooted OTA stock rom. then had the problems. nothing broke during downgrading. i downgraded to see if it was the new OTA causing the problems. i have the airave w/3g. the phone works perfectly outside of airave coverage. all incoming calls, all data, all outgoing and texts work off airave. only incoming calls dont work on airave(everything else does). people get a busy signal when calling me(it doesnt even make it to VM). if im on a call in airave coverage and someone calls, the call waiting will beep in(and i can switch over). i can send/receive texts on airave. data is perfect on airave. no google voice. i dont have any numbers blocked on airave.

it started working again. im not sure what sprint did, but i havent changed anything on my phone since calling them. I'll call them this week to see if they know what they did.

Re: Incoming call issues(airave) after OTA

why do you think sprint did something? did you have an open ticket with them and they stated they would work on your problem?

since you have had this device, did it ever stop working? did it work properly once you took possession of it? or did it ever work properly at all and now its just started to?

trying to get a clear follow up here for others to read in case they have issues...
