New Pri 1.77

my 4g took a dump after i flashed to PRI 1.77 - my speeds are either the said or below what i had stock.

Can someone make a thread or point me to a thread that shows a working method to get back to 1.40? I've tried the following so far:

1. ##786#
2. EPST Restore and ##786#
3. Flashing Froyo 2.2 stock at ##786#
4. Flashing 1.34 and ##786#

The last attempt landed me at a previous PRL too, so I had to manually go back to 60670 which is no cakewalk either.

My 3G speeds have literally gone down from 2.2Mbps to 350Kbps steady. Help!

I know i have nand unlocked as I did a nandroid backup, then selected update zip from storage card. It does an install and shows text, then clears too fast for me to pic out any letter then clears to reboot or other options. I start phone and go to menu/settings/about phone/software and it still sits at 1.34 It doesn't work for me.

Ok, sorry but one last question. What are you using for recovery? I know there was problems with the older versions of the clockwork recovery. If you are using that trying switching to Amon ra 1.8.0. Let me know

Thanks litlepyro. RA got it on first try. Flashed RA and tried ##data# and it failed to give 1.40 but it did flash 1.77_003 just had to move file from dl folder to root of sd for ra to find it. Now for a speedtest out here in the sticks.

Try an update profile under settings. It may help with the 3G speeds.

hey 2k sorry to bother im having trouble with the PRI update once i rename it and put it on the rrot of the sdcard as per xda once u boot into hboot it should ask for the update but nothing happens in my hboot screen ..idk whats the issue also im rooted with unrevoked 3.21 will this be available with unrevoked??? thanks in advance..
