Re: EVO as ipod replacement?

@ stanglifemike, you have to take into consideration that Android is a still a baby compared to these other phone OS's. Its been only 3 years that Android has been out and look at all the attention and development it has. Android is the future, am sure give it another year or two and we will see Android on top. Although I am a a hardcore WM user I have moved to Android, or will on Oct 1st when the new Sero Premium will be out. I already have my Evo ready to be activated ;]. Oh and i hate crapple as well! Death to crapple! ;]

Re: EVO as ipod replacement?

I'm actually a big fan of the ipod touch it's a great media device. Plus it pretty much functions as an iphone when you have an internet connection (which I can get from my Evo) so I have the best of both worlds. I'm not one of those apple haters I think the Evo is superior, best phone on the market, but I like the Apple products as well especially the games. if the Evo could run games like my Ipod does I would be in heaven

Re: EVO as ipod replacement?

I like my ipod touch to work out with and keep my phone separate. I dont even want to risk gettin it all sweaty and stuff. plus the ipod has that nice arm strap. And on the ipod can run videos for hours and you really dont have to worry about killing the battery..

Re: EVO as ipod replacement?

I use my Evo for music and movies. I have a 32gb zune but havent touched it since i got my Evo. Big difference from my old TP2! Music doesnt sound bad though i would like a built in eq. I use musicmod for tunez and meridian for movies. Works great for me.

Re: EVO as ipod replacement?

For the price you are going to pay for even a Nano, why not just buy a extended battery and a 32GB SD card?
