how to upgrade rooted 2.1 to Froyo

I have the evo, with 2.1 on it and its rooted. How can i upgrade to froyo? the ota updates wont install? Im down for restoring it and everything, just dont want to loose all of my info that's already on it.

Just flash any if the roms that are posted here. Your also going to want to flash the radio and wimax to the newest a well.

Oh, syncing it with your computer before and after flash will keep all of your contacts.

Did you just buy the phone this way?

Why dont you just get one ot the rooted deox 2.2 factory roms and make any change to it you like. Or if you feel adventurous there is the new Fresh 3.2 which is a great rom and great kernel for battery life

One more thing just what ever you do, dont take the OTA upgrade, since your rooted you can get any rom you want here or over at xda....Always check around first and even if its out and new and you want it, just give it a little while and someone will have the rooted version

Try this rom STOCK ROOTED
