Android 2.2 is driving me crazy

i have problems left and right with the phone since the stupid update. sprint won’t replace the phone ( i do not want a refurbished junk, because every single refurbished phone that i got was garbage and broke within a week), htc cant do anything either. i keep getting the run around, call sprint, call htc, go to the store. the problem is so bad that i cant type anything without the phone freezing on me. sprint repair couldn’t fix sh*t, so what can i do?
