Sprint ordered me a replacement yesterday it came today and it was a refurb with 2.2 on it already. I will probably just send it back since it cant be rooted yet. My original EVO is having problems with the 4g not working correctly so I can deal with that.

OP what was wrong with the charging port? I thought mine was loose too, it was only the cable though. They gave me a new one at the store also.

Replacement Phone Sucks? You mean the fact you can't root yet sucks? Maybe you should have worded your Post title differently. It's just a matter of time before someone at XDA Developers cracks it and you are able to be rooted again. I personally see more issues with Evo owners being rooted than just staying stock. I personally am going to keep my Evo stock...bare bone stock.

im having charging port issue to. my phone is rooted with omj rom 3.0. can i hust take it to the sprint store our do i put the stock rom on it. help anyone im gonna try a different cord tomorrow to see if thats the problem

We reported our 2 evos water damaged 2 weeks ago. We received 2 brand new evo's the other day. No refurb's.

A week or 2 after June 4th release date I noticed my screen was lifting, The Shack replaced it in about 5-7 days with a brand new one. I called Yesterday to ask about the manufacture warranty and he said "it's a year why, do you need to replace yours?" I replied with "yes mines just running slow and shutting off on its own." He said "ok we'll have you a a new one in about 5-7 days" So this will be my 3rd brand new Evo. =]
