Replacement phones sucks!

I had problem with my evo charging and came to find out the charging port became loose and I had to get a replacement phone. I got it in the via ups about a week later and was pissed to find out that all the evos with the froyo ota update already installed couldnt be rooted. So now im stuck with this stock rom. Sux :>(

Just give it time. 2.2 will eventually be rooted. I'm sure the Unrevoked team is working on it, among others from this site, or XDA.

was the replacement refurbrished?
Im curious to know b/c I get mine tomorrow and I ordered last Thursday (so yea it took about a week)

i got mine brand new, no refurbish phone around, it take me almost 2 weeks to get mine

Well I gt mine today. I'll let yall know if its a refurb or not
