I did not notice, did you try ALL of the USB ports on your computer?

yes, even plugged it into a couple different laptops and only got charging light. factory data reset didn't work either.

Go to "Settings/Connect to PC/Default connection type" is it set to "Disk Drive" or "HTC Sync" :?:
