Question Should i update to 2.2 or not? that is the ?

So i have the rooted version of sprints rom (just regular rom) i have looked into updating to OMJ 2.2 but have heard lots of problems with the 2.2. since i rooted to the sprint rom my battery has been retarded getting only like 8 hrs of life without use. as i have been reading, alot of people are getting even worse battery life with the 2.2 update so i am very unsure of what to do. my wifi tether is working great and i dont have any serious problems other than the battery!

Any help would be greatly appreciated

(P.S. i keep getting a prompt for the 1.47 update can i turn this off?)

Well we all use our devices differently and there are many times when we can both have to same setup and have totally different experiences as far as performance goes. So just do your backups and give it shot, if it doesn't work out for you then you can always go back.
