What happened to my Sprint Navigation??

Today all of a sudden my Sprint Navigation has switched to Sprint Navigation Lite. I just used it yesterday and it was fine then today when i pull it up it is really slow and then shows that it is the lite version and if I want turn by turn and traffic to click here and its 9.99 a month. Sprint Nav is included in my Data Everything share plan and I've never had to pay before. Tech support couldn't answer why and they wanted me to do a hard reset. I've got to back up some things first so I'm waiting. By the way, I am rooted and running the Sprint Lovers Froyo 2.2 ROM. I've been running that ROM for since I got the phone on Saturday with no problems. I uninstalled Sprint Nav and reinstalled it using a downloaded .apk. If anyone has any answers or help??

Re: What happened to my Sprint Navigation??

Sounds like whoever did the "Sprint Lovers Froyo 2.2 ROM" may have pushed an update to your phone. Sprint Navigator is still 100% free and full on my Touch Pro 2...so what is sounds like is someone decided they wanted lite version, and is trying to get $10 out of you. Try going back to the Stock 2.2 ROM and see if it changes.

Re: What happened to my Sprint Navigation??

I have no clue what caused that to happen, I had the same problem, removed the app, reloaded a 2.1 upgraded version and yeah went right back to light, if I can find an answer i will post back here

That is something I used to be able to make fun of Verizon users for...not anymore I guess!

Same thing here as of today on OMJ/2.2.

Google Nav is great too though...just a little different so will take some getting used to.

Re: What happened to my Sprint Navigation??

Buy the 9.99 version and if you get charged call in and get it taken off your bill.
