Any Fring Alternatives?

Has anyone heard of any programs that are being developed to take the place of Fring??? It was nice being able to video chat with people on PC's. I haven't figured out to do that with Qik... if it is even possible.

movicha lets you do video chat with someone at a PC but the video is pretty choppy. You can find it in the android market under movichaforevo
