Is the release day ROM available for download?

are you talking about a stock and if you can flash back to it? can't flash ROMs unless you're rooted...

UNLESS you're talking about downgrading from the Froyo update back to 2.1

Yes, back to the stock release day OTA update from froyo. I was just curious. I have not updated yet and am stil on 1.3x or what ever it was.

I would imagine that as long as you have the ROM for the 1.3 or 1.4 you should be able to flash it backwards. I'm updated to the 2.2 version currently and going to roll it back to the 1.4 once the 'final' update is available.

Personally I don't think there will be any difference compared to the currennt .3 beta release but that's what I want to test.

I don't understand all the worry is all about I have done the pre release of 2.2 and it is bone stock including the boot up screen as long as the file is a different number it should up date to the new number
