EVO 4G Stuck on Scanning

I flashed the rom from the link and flashed the new WiMax, no go. I also tried OMJ 2.2 and 4G still doesnt work. I restored back to rooted stock. At least its working with that rom. I guess I'll just have to wait for the official then root.

quick question, if 4g is not available in ur area its supposed to be scanning 4ever wen u turn it on right? or should it say sumthing else like "not available" or sumthing? Im reffering to myself of course. Cus i jus leave it on just in case but it always ssays "scanning"

did you flash the radio before the wimax?

hmm, mine works. was getting like 2.0Mbps now getting over 5.0 Mbps

the instructions said to just flash the wimax again if it doesnt work the first time

I'm in Tampa, FL. I flashed the leaked 2.2 Friday night, 4G is working for me at 4.9 mbps down and 1 mbps up. The only thing I did was flash the rom, didn't flash a new radio or wimax...

Maybe because I'm in NYC and don't know if they're still "testing" here or not, I can sometimes get 4G, but it takes a very long time to connect and then I get a very poor signal. Turning off 4G on the other hand is instantaneous.

Update:

I flashed my evo to the new OMJ FroYo 3.26.651.6 updated all the radios and now 4g is working. YES!!
