Strange issues

Just got my evo today. I had a hero for a year before getting this evo. I'm extremely proficient in terms of rooting, modifying and generally messing with android. I immediately rooted the evo when i got home and flashed fresh 1.0.1. Now my gtalk won't sign in and my market won't download apps. It will say "starting download", but it never...starts the download. I've fixed permissions to no avail and reflashed the rom. Any ideas?

Try updating your Data Profile as well as your PRL most likely VERY OLD

I figured the profile and prl would be up to date because of the activation. Will definitely give it a shot though. I'll report back. Thanks!

Ok, so that did nothing. I'm going to go ahead and wipe EVERYTHING and flash a different rom.

Interesting side note, when i rebooted, the app i was trying to download was installed, but it didn't show up in my app drawer before i rebooted.
