Advise from The Fat Man regarding 2.2 leaks/ROMS

The official 2.2 release from Sprint is just a few short days away.

The AVA 2.2 ROM is NOT from the official build (no offence to AVA you are the man) It's the leaked ROM.

I say errybody chill. Wait a few days, the official Sprint 2.2 will be out, then the master chefs like AVA, OMJ, Fresh, Cyanogen, etc. will be able to make it even better. How long do you think it'll take those guys? A week at max! I can even say 72 hours is a safe bet.

There are bugs and there are fixes. There are bugs that we don't know about yet, so there aren't fixes. By the time you get all your bugs fixed and the phone working the way you want, AVA will release his official OFFICIAL rom and then you gotta start all over again.

I'm still confused to why people still think this ROM is leaked? HTC intentionally threw it out in the open on there website for almost 2 hours, then pulled it. That is not leaked...I've come across atleast a dozen people that say this ROM is leaked...yet it isn't but they insist it's the final version...which is highly doubtable...since they usually tweak things at the last minute...hence the 4-5 day period before official release...Just my 2 cents...

I dont follow Ava's thread but his ROM is version 3.26.651.1, I dont know where he got his source, maybe it was an actual leak. But I can tell u the version I am using came from the HTC website (3.26.651.3). I would bet the official version that comes OTA will be 3.26.651.3.
