voice dialing is awful

I can't find any settings for it

and it is awful ou say call someone and the voice recognition calls someone else it doesnt even ask you to verify it just dials away

Yep its pretty much useless. Which is funny because some of the other voice functions work fine.

I agree it does suck but at least it looks like it opens the door for someone to make it better though..

the doors been open to long at google. someone needs to close it and actually do some QC i bet it was the same guy who pitched the antenna system to Apple

LOL....probably.

I do miss my voice command dialing in windows thats for sure. you would think with a lot of states soon to be having laws against driving and talking on a cell it would be somewhat of a higher priority.

The laws don't ban dialing the phone

True but it still sucks having to take the phone out to dial when I should just be able to activate it from my headset.

The headset also makes a difference. I purchased the new Blue Ant T1 and its performance is a tiny bit better than the Blue Ant Q1 and lots better than the Motorola 721. Anyway, for a phone of this "quality," it sure is fast. If my TP2 had this processor and memory, I would say bye to Android without missing a beat. It's fast though.

BenC I am currently using the TP2, but because of the reasons you mentioned I am thinking about switching to the EVO. I do have one question I hope you or someone can answer since I know nothing about Android. I have over 200 hundred word document and text files that I would like to be able to read and edit. Will I be able to do this on Android? Thanks for helping out a potential Android noob.
