I'll start.

With all this Rom talk, it made me think. Other than screen optimization, I haven't really seen anyone work on graphic, sound or camera optimizations. Anyone know why?

If you read the release notes on Engadgets website you'll see that with this update that you can't stand hearing about anymore....they have worked on video, sound and camera.

They also said they would be adding more widgets and such...so it is the talk...since the Evo dearly needs it..

well with the froyo update the camera/camcorder is suppose to work, look, and record better and I wish they would work with exterior sound, like the fps kernel hack has an audio boost in it but it only in headset volume while in call, idk if there is a way to fix the "media volume"

I read them. I meant by some of the talented developers out there. I used 2.2 roms, albeit betas, but I wasnt impressed by the above hardware. The camera is always too pixelated for me, sound too low and flat and graphics are still crap. Almost makes me wish I had a Droid only because of the dedicated video drivers

i exported my contacts to my sd card.....is this a good back up solution?(because i heard after some ota some ppl were not able to sync from their sd card)

I sync from gmail. You can import the Outlook file to gmail. I never have to worry syncing ever again.
