I haven't read anything that leads me to believe the update has been downloaded.
I'm hoping one of the lucky testers will upload the update for the rest of us. If that's possible.

So, if this info is posted on the sprint update website, why can't we see it on our devices yet? I'm checking once every few hours or so. Not in a big rush really.

I suspect those posting about how great Froyo is on their EVO don't have the official ROM. Until I see some proof, everyone is a poser.

And just in case you haven't got the point yet. If you're rooted stay clear of the update of the world as we know it will end.

If I'm not mistaken, ota starts on Monday and the release is tomorrow. They said 8/3 with 8/1 being speculation.

Because Sprint isn't the one distributing the upgrade but rather HTC. I suspect that the official ROM is ready as stated on the Sprint site and on a few phones but is not yet widely available. Waiting to hear if someone actually was able to download the ROM upgrade. Once that occurs, the file would probably quickly find it's way to various websites.

Does it matter if I go back to stock first, or update right from Fresh rom? is one better? I am not worried about loosing root... these awsome devs will figure it out yet again!
