My EVO is currently equipped with your EViO 1.02 and it is by far an extremely fast and stable rom; not a single discrepancy to report.

If you add your touch to this build of Froyo, I imagine it will succeed accordingly in epic fashion.

The HTC Incredible runs on Verizon's network and is quite similar to the HTC EVO. There was a leaked build of the Android 2.2 ROM, intended for the Incredible via OTA (over the air update). Because the hardware is mostly the same on both phones, porting it "shouldn't" be too difficult for those familiar with the process (e.g. Calkulin). That's what he appears to be working on now.

If EVO has an earlier version like 2.1 or something, what are the primary differences between 2.1 and 2.2 (Now that I think about it, I think the evo has 2.1 but I still don't know the difference.)
Doesn't the EVO have Sense?
if not what does "Sense" do? actually either way an explanation of what "Sense" is would be nice as I see it used a lot and no real definition added.

I hope no one things I am being a smart ass or anything I just know where to look on the phone for the software info, but the stuff there is gibberish. Before this phone I just had a blackberry and never wondered about this sort of stuff, and the only "apps" I ever messed with were the ones on my ipod touch for random games, and learning tools for my kid. All of this stuff is basically a second language in a lot of respects.

HTC sense is the user interface that covers 2.1, just like how htc sense did the same for winmo phones like the touch pro and touch pro 2. So being that you have an evo what you see and what you click on are all part of htc sense. If you got a nexus 1 with 2.1 it would look different than your evo even though its the same os since the nexus one doesn't have sense. Make sense?

Nice work Calk. Still using your 1.47 rooted version. Waiting anxiously for the bugs to be work out on this one. In the meantime I'm going to upgrade to your EviO version which I didn't even know existed. Thank you for all your hard work.

HTC Incredible doesn't have a front camera. It'll be tough to get the front camera working unless you replace the sense camera app with the froyo camera app (like cyanogen uses). I really use my front camera so hope you can get it working.

Question? How does one get such a high reading for MFLOPS? Just curious as i downloaded lin and ran a benchmark over and over and never broke 7......what gives?
