Evo's graphics

I have a question about the Evo's graphics. Will it ever be able to match the graphics of the Epic's? I'm pretty much a noob and certain concepts I haven’t been able to grasp yet. Since there’s a fix for the 30fps issue will that alone make the graphics on the level of the Epic's or is it a combination of that and the hummingbird processor? IMO that’s the only thing I see missing from the Evo that I want. I’m contemplating taking the Evo back next week and waiting for the Epic, but I wanted to hear some of the responses from the more knowledgeable people. I know this is probably going to get moved to the phone comparison forum, but hopefully I could get some insightful responses before then. Thanks.

Re: Evo's graphics

EVO will never be able to match the Galaxy S performance (Epic)...while they are both 1ghz processor the hummingbird processor is a lot more efficient due to the 45nm and the built in hardware video decoding. There is also the SGX540 for graphics processing.

The EVO in comparison is pretty much at least 2x inferior if not more for graphics due to the weaker and older snapdragon processor.

Here is some benchmarks, the "Your Device" is a Galaxy S running 2.1 with an IO fix...the other Galaxy S benchmark on there is before the IO fix and using beta firmware....the Nexus One < 2.2 is pretty much where the EVO is with he 30fps fix.
