Can You Guys Say Android Stock SMS/MMS (NOT HTC SMS) & 3D Gallary

so while playing around Ive pushed the old school android sms/mms and 3d gallery on my phone thanks to kpoz over at Xda i have a vid to show not to experiment with the droid X APKs

i wonder if the old mms.apk can send larger pictures out than the stock (which i think is limited to 2mb?)

well regardless if it does or doesn't it really matters on the carrier, carriers set size limits on how big a picture a person can receive

ok update all black android stock mms.apk just installed it and runs perfectly first delete mms.apk via root explorer then just dl it to sd and install

Well since sprints send recieve limit is 5mb it matters to me that it is set as 2 for max send on this device. With my touch pro 1 i have sent full length mp3 songs and my wifes rumor 2 recieves them. Not my fault at&t and vzw can't recieve files that big.

any advantages to the old sms? Does it have numbered notifications regardless of if you are on sense or not? Basicly if I have one text does it show the 1 above the text? Either way whats the deal whys this so great.

I am currently running the damage control rom so I already have the 3D gallary. Its freaking awesome for sure. One thing though dont uninstall the stock gallary because somethings are linked to it. For instance I tried to change a contacts picture and it could find pictures. Most stuff is no issue at all but that is one thing I found so far to be messed up from uninstalling the stock gallary. I mean I uninstalled it thinking I only need one gallary lol oops my bad. Switching roms in a few days anyway.

Edit: You can still select a picture from the gallary and then use the options to set it as a caller id picture that way. You just cant go into contact and edit then set it because it wont find the gallary. Either way I am just saying there are no side effects to the 3D gallary unless you delet the old gallary. Hope I am not confusing anyone here.
