Re: Dual Led Flash, too bright?

What's the point of having a flash on a camera if you have to backup 15 feet to take their picture.

Portraits are supposed to have an intimate feel to them. I don't think expecting a flash picture not to overexpose and not induce motion blur from slow shutter speeds from 5 feet away is expecting too much from a cell phone camera of this caliber.

Bottom line is this camera has a LOT of opportunities to get better. Hopefully HTC will release some updated software to address some of thse glaring issues.

Re: Dual Led Flash, too bright?

I am permanently* blind from the first time I tried taking an up close shot.

*alright, not permanently but I didn't get one picture where I couldn't help but squinting or closing my eyes completely

Re: Dual Led Flash, too bright?

I would recommend not taking pictures of yourself with the EVO and flash on. Especially when driving.

Re: Dual Led Flash, too bright?

What I did was cover one of the LEDs with my fingertip when taking a picture with the flash and it helped a lot. Not a long term solution but its something.

I am offering a dual LED flash intesity diffuser kit. I'm selling them for $39.99/kit and when used sparingly you can get 100+ uses before having to be replaced. This is what comes in the kit:

Ok, let the orders begin...

Any idea if you will be offering said kit in any color variations or patterns?

Most definately, but that will cost an additional $10 because it's my opinion that you'll use more as a result of the brighter colors.
