The app costs money but you can go to the thread for the app over at XDA and he has the files available for download and just put the files in their location via root explorer or however.
I personally haven't had time to mess with it yet but I dont think it works. |

I'd email the guy and make sure that this application is Evo friendly, it's not liste and he states if it's not listed, it's not compatible for a reason:

Let's just say that we don't talk about warez here, straight out or dancing around the line.
Our ban system has a "trial version" too. It's a 7 day trial, to be exact...

I also did the headphone boost. I was using it more for that and it seemed to have helped. Still doesn't sound as loud as my Ipod
