Home internet is a different story... I went a bit crazy on Steam with the sales they had going on for the 4th and downloaded probably ~50GB in a matter of a week.

We're talking about 4G coverage on a mobile device.

Home internet is a completely different scenario. 80 GB is a light month for me. One of the great things about being a Dave Matthews Band fan, is that they let fans tape each and every one of their live shows, so that fans can download them (100% legal at http://www.dreamingtree.org/index.php). The tapers have the torrents upped anywhere from a few hour to a couple days after the show. Then I'm also seeding the shows I download while I'm sleeping and while I'm at work, so during the week, that's about 16 hours, 5 days a week, of constant uploading.

Off topic: I take it you've heard of Tim Reynolds? My older brother is good friends with his nephew... Would have been able to meet Dave Matthews when he was in St. Louis if I had been in town.

Re: Cyanogen Roms - Froyo- Everything working!!!

80gb a month from home.....i can't get comcast because I'm a user they would send a letter to, then cut off my service for going over my 250gb per month usage cap lol. I think my worst day was running a megaupload premium account for a day. In 24hrs I downloaded 111gb.
I've been looking at other tv/internet options but its either keep my cable I have now, go to comcast and cut back my usage by a lot, get u-verse, or directv with my current cabke net or u-verse

Re: Cyanogen Roms - Froyo- Everything working!!!

I think you guys missed the point...... midwestdrummer saids someone needed to find a hobbie if they use over 60gb a month...... maybe you forgot to think that some people use their phone as their home internet service..especially with 4g coverage.

So I guess yall need a hobby ( including myself ) because after 60gb you need a hobby.

:0 just sayin'

Re: Cyanogen Roms - Froyo- Everything working!!!

Comon can we stay on topic, even tho until release there really isn't a topic...

P.s "froyo everything working" is a bit misleading.

Wow buddy, you're completely missing the point. Our argument has been the use of data on a handset, which was the original topic, versus on a home PC, which came into the conversation much later. I transfer 60 GB on my home PC in 7 nights of sleep.

You might also not want to forget that using Wifi Tether on the device is technically against Sprint's EULA, so using 60+ GB of data over tethering might raise more than a few red flags unless you're paying the extra $30 a month for Sprint's official tethering.

Sprint isn't completely stupid... They see 60+ GB without an official tethering package and they're going to know something is up.
