best recovery?

i see there are 3 different recoveries out there to flash. one is from the 2 step guide that toast made but i notice it always says "build not set" on the recovery home. the 2nd is clockwork and of course then there is amon's ra one. which version is the best and why? the only thing i don't like about the amon ra one is there is no back button. im currently running the fresh evo rom.

I prefer clockwork, simply because I can keep it updated with Rom Manager.

I cant use the OTA Update feature of clockwork...every time I click it it says:

"The ROM you are using does not support OYA Updates. The developer of this ROM needs to make the appropriate changes so their ROM support OTA Update. Please contact the ROM developer! Please DO NOT contact ROM Manager: THIS IS NOT A ROM MANAGER BUG."

I'm using the Sprint Lovers Froyo 8-22-10 update ROM.

Hold volume up and down at the same time = back button.
