Yah...I agree...but I'll tell ya, Wunderradio works to find every local station where I live...but if one has problems with streaming...then FM is probably best for them

Re: EVO fm radio

I have a VERY cheap pair of headphones I bought on the street (NYC, $5), they work absolutely great. No idea why you have to buy expensive headphones to listen to the radio while above ground.

Re: EVO fm radio

Just buy a cheap 3.5mm M/F Extension cable, then hook up your good buds to that. It should work in theory, since the first 3-6' of cable (the cheap extension) could act as the antenna. I'm sure you'd lose some audio quality by putting that extension between your device and your good ear buds, but it is FM radio after all.

Re: EVO fm radio

The OEM HTC hands free set works great with the EVO, FM stations come in clear as a bell and the sound quality is great. I tried two other style earbuds that would only pick up one or two local stations before seeing a review for these.

Re: EVO fm radio

Just another point for the "streaming works better"

For me, the FM radio is a gameday thing for me....I want to be able to listen to my announcers and watch the action, streaming is delayed and doesnt cut it.
