Eligibility requirements for Sprint Premier are simple: 1) For three consecutive months, consumer customers must be on an individual wireless plan of at least $69.99 per month or spend at least $99.99 per month on a plan that shares minutes, or 2) they must have been a Sprint wireless customer for at least 10 years. For complete rules about Sprint Premier, visit sprint.com/premiercustomer.

not sero customers... for sprint premier you have to have a plan of 59.99 or maybe 69.99 to even be considered..(i shouldve scrolled to the bottom of post first lol, guess thats been said)

also you get 25% off accessories, i just got $15 off my bill for hitting anniversary date, you get free shipping and activation from telesales, and you get FULL UPGRADE every 12months(instead of 22months)..

so not everyone can have premier, its not much, but they do give you little perks.. i got my original TP2(on pre-sale day) for $199(not $350 like most) just because i was premier.. so it has some benefits, sometimes

Re: anybody get a evo as a replacement from sprint?

I replaced my TP with an Evo for free.

Long story though, and not very repeatable. About one month before the Evo release, my TP took a crap. I had BB's Geek Squad protection plan on it, so I turned it in to them and they gave me a loaner phone to use while my phone was in repair.

First thing I noticed about the loaner phone is that it had all of the previous user's data still on it. Yikes! I emailed the BB manager to complain about this, and he offered me a $50 gift card and assurance that data security procedures would be followed more strictly in the future.

A month later, my phone was still in repair (Geek Squad is really slow), and I got a call in that an Evo was waiting for me. This was about two weeks after launch, in the second batch of shipments (no preorder). So I went in expecting to pay $200 - I was eligible for upgrade. The BB Mobile guy asked me where my old phone was, and I said it was at Geek Squad waiting for repair.

He and the manager then spent a long time working a bunch of magic, and when it was all done, my total for the Evo came to $40. He explained it like this: my TP had just been "junked-out" (deemed unrepairable), so I got a store credit for the nearest equivalent, which was the Hero. So I only had to pay the difference in price between the Hero and Evo. Using the $50 gift card from the loaner phone debacle, this means I got upgraded to the Evo for free. My receipt is about five feet long, but I'm happy! It's even an 003 with no issues to report as of yet.

Why wasn't the TP2 your equivalent replacement? Was it because Best Buy doesn't sell the TP2 but they do sell the Hero?

Re: anybody get a evo as a replacement from sprint?

What i suggest you doing is talking to them let them know that youve been thur more than 3 replacements and its disrupting your business which is what you use the phone for and was informed that you can switch to another phone of choice if you keep having continious problems it will take talking to probably a number of ppl every so often but your bound to break someone into doing it

If all else fails threaten to leave let them know Tmobile has a similar phone cheap plan and theyre service is better near you make a great selling story

or go to the store after mashing the springs that press against your battery so the device doesnt turn on and show them the phone doesnt come on they will have to give you another phone and since youve been to numerous maybe what you choose

good luck

PS Ive done all these thing for 2 and half years and got every phone i wanted plus so many credits I didnt pay my phone bill for about 1yr

Re: anybody get a evo as a replacement from sprint?

I'm glad i finally found this site, I've had nothing but problems with the rumor 2 and get absolutely no servie on my entire street especially in my own place and they arugue well you're in the green till the pull up my drop call list and said its the phone well then they should discontinue those phones if it is the phones since i've gone through so many so they were going to send the airwave box to me for free so we can at least talk at our house on our phones but they didn't note that either so i'll take what worked from some of you guys and call back for another long battle over the phone.
