Google owns youtube.and android so why does the youtube app suck so bad

The youtube app for the evo is useless. You can't change the parental settings. I didn't have this issue on my old tp2.

Yeah I agree with freeza. You're nuts. It works amazingly. Never heard parental settings + YouTube in the same sentence.

another nod for the tube app. it is pretty slick. integrated just fine on the today screen and the rotating recommendations is pretty snazzy....

i think it's a little clunky... expected a better experience from google. but it's still good. i also hate when certain videos don't show up in the app when i search...

Do a search for a song called "my d!ck". Correct spelling first. I can bring it up on my tp2 but not on the evo. Next go into settings look under search settings, you can't adjust where it says safe search. Its not like there is anything bad on youtube anyway.

Now actually use the damn app before commenting next time

Oh and I hit thank you as well because I wanna be ann a$$ snifer too.

That is interesting that the settings cannot be adjusted. The SafeSearch is definitely grayed out and cannot be clicked.

I guess I have never searched for a video that would fall under that issue.

yes same here. never look for such things on the tube..

to the OP. what if you change your settings on your yuotube account online? did you try that? did it make a difference? it would seem if this widget/program is tied to your main account, if you adjust your settings on your main account, perhaps they wold reflect on the widget?

and why would you need to have parental control on your phone anyway? You can limit to what your kid does on your phone by monitoring him/her IMO Their should be no need for it on any phone unless you give your kid a EVO lol
