whats this icon?

i have this icon next to the gps that looks like a ear but I can't ind anything in the user guide telling me what it is

Hearing aid is on

It will be really loud. Go to settings call and then uncheck the hearing aid thingy. Are your calls really loud?

Does anyone ever look at the user manual that comes with the phone? Not trying to sound harsh but that would be the first place I would look before I had to resort to creating a post on PPCGeeks..but that's just me.

Am I the only one who saw him say that he looked in the user guide and couldn't find anything?

I was under the impression that this forum was for helping others with issues and new ideas to try on our phones. So I do not see a issue.

if you read the first post you'd have seen I did. maybe you need to look at page 9 and 10 in the manual where it lists the icons. but that ones not there

not trying to sound like a prick but if people would read the post and have nothing worthwile to reply back should go into the woods during hunting season wearing a fur coat.

i guess my fat fingers bumped it when i was changing settings after my rom flash

Ok...sorry I skimmed over the original post...I'll take the heat for that. It seems HTC/Sprint forgot to put that one in there. But I do have one question...I noticed you were running a non stock ROM on your Evo...does the same Icon show in the stock ROM too?

The only reason I mentioned the User Manual is because 99% of phone owners never ever look in it...they get the phone and go.

But I guess you were one of them that did...So I am sorry for that :P
