videos recorded from evo
Here is 2 videos I recorded last friday at the WrightPatterson Air Force Base for the Tattoo Festival.
Because of the low light they're not great, but not too hateful jet flyover: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W0XDuHOE-iM&hd=1 fireworks: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LxwmcTpvY6Y&hd=1

Re: videos recorded from evo
In low light levels, you might want to try a flashlight app. Just tun it on, and when you open the camcorder, the light stays on. Don't know if it will help in open space however.

Love the F-22... Have quite a few of them up here @ Elmendorf too. Overall pretty decent quality IMO.

I didn't change any settings at all... they were on the defaults
here's a jet semi and 2 jet cars at a local raceway/dragstrip (kil-kare in xenia ohio), they do it every year... it's called the night of fire, they always do it around the 4th of july. semi - I didn't record it that long because i thought it was about to run... you HAVE to plug your ears when that thing goes by! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QBnTH0z535s&hd=1 jet cars http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eOBu576zy18&hd=1 |

Re: videos recorded from evo
The other problem with Evo video recording is the half ass codec implementation that HTC used.... and the fact that they aren't using the latest and greatest codecs.
So here they are building an "awesome" phone with the latest and greatest hardware, but they decide to hinder it with poor software choice and implementation.
