Sprint rep knew i DOWNLOADED TASK KILLER?

Here is my spin on this subject.

1: Its my phone, I paid for it; so its my choice to do with it what I please
2: Its Sprints network and since I am not hurting or hacking their infrastructure they should have no problems with me since I pay my bill on time
3: I accepted the responsibility to void the warranty when I removed all the sprint bloatware
4: Since removal of all the bloatware my battery life has tripled (estimated).

Again its my property (as it is yours) and they can track all they want it doesn't scare me. I have been with sprint for a few years now and since I removed all the bloatware its even harder to track me except for calls made, text messages, emails and location of the device. Since the internet and Google everything about you is being tracked, this is exaclty why I put requests to those websites to remove all my data (which happens to be incorrect most of the time) and killed any information at social websites even though most of that information was very basic information to begin with. When I was growing up all you had to worry about was Big Brother; now its every company that has access to the internet. What I thought was funny and scary was a few months ago a individual broke into AT&T and borrowed all their data (emails and phone numbers) to "Test" their security but Sprint and many other huge companies tried to purchase this information from that Security Firm. Unsure if they sold the data but it does happen....

Next our phones are gonna magically turn on with a sprint rep on video chat telling you to close that eskimotube site and pull ur shorts up... AHHHH..!!! I'm fap'n in the dark from now on... lmao...

you guys are right with everything you said about sprint loading phones with crap ware and so forth. I work for sprint and just wanted to clear the air that sprint can't see what your doing on you phone that's all.

I don't care now either way, but telling someone to "get a life" isn't a good way to start off the discussion. If you read this entire thread i would think there is more than enough evidence to prove that they probably can. HTC can, and sprint asked them for the same ability. I'll repeat it 1 more time for those that don't know what was said. After having the phone for about a week,i loaded ATK, i called sprint and complained about the battery life among other things, and the rep said "well YOU JUST Downloaded ATK. Being new to android, i started this thread wanting to know how he knew that. And the concern wasn't porn, it was free wireless tether and whether or not they could see it and charge us for it....all legit questions if you ask me.

Sprint can't charge for free wireless tether. It's not only an unlimited data plan, it's a $10 extra for it being "more unlimited" lol. All they are charging for with the Hotspot is the use of their software.
