EVO all the way!!!

Right now as I type, I have my EVO plugged into my laptop sharing the 3g internet and I have my PS3 wired into the back of my laptop and I'm online playing COD MW2 its a lil glitchy but I'm amazed that I can do both and I'm only using 3g. Not hating on the IP4 but I am hooked on my EVO.

Why not use unrevoked root and wifi tether?

Want to keep my EVO stock and wanted to see if I could do this type of set up, without having to use the 4g or the hotspot.

The UnrEVOked Root can be done and keep you unit "Stock"...I have not done anything else to mine yet other than that, as I am still afraid of bricking (I have never flashed a custom rom or rooted the other way before)...All that has to be done is uninstall Unrevoked and you are back to normal...And the wifi tether works :P

In fact...I am on the tether now

Prepare for Sprint to give you a call in regards to your 3G data usage. Remember that 3G is not unlimited on that phone anymore...only 4G....so hopefully you get or have 4G soon. I think its a 5GB cap with the 3G....either way I would much rather play online games on a higher more stable connection.

The $10 fee removes any cap, real or imagined, no matter if 1x, 3G, or 4G
