Wifi tether randomly stopped working

Up until last night it worked great. Now I'm getting "unable to start tethering, please try again." Anyone else experience this?

Try opening the app, then menu > settings > menu > Reinstall config and binaries.

Thanks man! Also since I've already rooted the phone, I can just nand unlock it now? I don't need to repeat the root do I?

this depends on how you rooted the phone.. full root - just a simple root - are you running a new radio ect.

I used the zip file in the sticky thread. So I assume a new radio?

Does this have anything to do with the wifi tether not working after about 5 minutes of the screen being off? Does anyone else have that problem? It stays connected but it doesn't provide internet for some reason. Is it the "data always on" setting?

I haven't had that problem.

you have to make sure disable wake is not green checked
