That will tell you what hardware revision you've got, but not what screen you've got. The 003 shipped with both the Novatec and the Epson screens.

Lots of good stuff to digest. Sorry if I'm missing it, but what is the difference between the 2 screens? What advantage is to have 1 over the other?

My Wife has a 003 with nova and I have a 002. I can not see the difference between them, they both also look great,

Sounds like you both have a Nova then and you shouldn't see a difference. The difference would be between the epson screen and the nova screen. Not the hardware versions.

The epson screens are said to be less bright but offer truer colors. It seems like most people have liked the Nova screen better from what I hear after people got replacements with Epson screens.

I just got a replacement Evo, and turned it on. I immediately noticed the difference. My current (broken) Evo is version 002 with a Nova screen. It looks WAY brighter than the 003 replacement I have, and the whites are about twice as good. The 003 replacement I have looks kinda pink/brownish. I put a white screen on both using a screen test app at max brightness, and my current Nova screen looks way brighter and a "true white" compared to this new one.

I know everyone says the Epson is better, but I don't believe that. My nova looks 10 times better than this new one.
