Re: Best HTC EVO Rom

I tried Fresh Evo 3.4.0.1 and it was super sketchy.. blinking and freezing. 2nd I flashed CyanogenMods newest stable.. 6 something and it wont let me use the Market and it did freeze up a couple of times but it seems SWEET! I am now going to check out something new until I find one that I can tweek to fit.. maybe come back to Cyanogen if nothing better.. Any suggestions? Anyone know how to fix the Market bug in Cyanogen?

Re: Best HTC EVO Rom

I suggest going to the Cyanogen Mod thread at XDA...there have been MULTIPLE posts on that particular fix.

one question...did you flash the LATEST gapps??

I vote for CM6.1 for the best NON Sense based ROM.

thank you!

Re: Best HTC EVO Rom

I used Fresh before this ROM 3.4.0.1. I started with RLS3 and now RLS4... I never looked back RLS4 ROCK'S. Everything works and works well. One thing I have noticed is to use the stock kernel (HTC- #17) its fast smooth and I have gotten at-least 23 hours of battery life. The marginal gain of others is truly negligible in real world use. I use this phone as a secretary in my pocket for computer support biz and photography biz. Thanks Myn ... this should be commercially installed by Sprint. LOL

I thought we established the flaws in the original question already.....location and use vary too much to ask such a thing
