Yeah the Device Self Service doesn't do anything when Update PRL was called.

I think we need the prl to be extracted as the single file for offline update.

yeah i just tried it right now and it wont update profile nor PRL, probably a network issue

i hope this fixes the missed calls and unchronological texts because i have been getting a lot lately. poeple tell me they just called me, but i was clearly just tweeting on my phone the last 10 mins and it didnt ring, i kept tellign ppl it was their own phone lol and not mine. guess i was wrong

It just updated for me. I didn't pick up any 4g service with it [damn] lol. And the speeds are lower than 40060 PRL update. 40060 PRL update gives me 2.5mbps download speed during the night, and about 1.8mbps down during the day. At this moment, 60666 is giving me less than 1mbps. Going to switch back to 40060 for now.

I hope this helps me out at my job. Ever since getting this phone my streaming radio constantly buffers due to the signal fluctuations. Never had that problem with my TP2. But thanks OP for the info.

i updated mine lastnight when the OP listed it. so far my signal strenght is jumping. i had this problem once before with my diamond. Will keep you all posted. In case you ask, everything is stock, no root or roms....Yet.

I tried pulling the PRL from mine but I couldn't get the HTC Diag drivers to install. Which is odd because installed them about a week ago to get my MSL, maybe its because im rooted. But anyways, I tried. Sorry guys. Maybe someone else will have more luck.

If the PRL only better connects calls through the use of Sprints partners' towers, and its only purpose is to basically help with better reception in normally roaming areas, why are people hoping it fixes little issues with the phone (tests, missed calls, etc.)?

A PRL will not help with:

Improve signal strength in Sprint or roaming areas
Quality issues (Echo, Static, Cross Talk, Audio Weak, etc.)
Blocked Calls
Dropped Calls
Coverage holes (No Service is available to make or receive calls)
Fast busy signals
Providing added features to a Sprint PCS phone (such as voicemail)
Voicemail issues
Wireless Web issues
Receiving a Sprint PCS error messages on outbound calls
Correcting misrouted calls when roaming
Receiving a credit card prompt while roaming
