Please Help! Unable to to mount SD card...

I can't mount my SD card. I have tried booting into recovery, but I can't do that either, because it says an SD card is needed. I wiped my phone hoping that would fix it, but it didnt. I don't know where to go from here. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please help!!!

Re: Please Help! Unable to to mount SD card...

I feel you bro. Just went through the same thing myself.

Download the Android SDK and extract
Plug your phone into the PC
Power on with the volume button down
Choose Fastboot
From a command prompt, navigate to the SDK folder and enter

fastboot oem enableqxdm 0
fastboot reboot

That fixed it for me.

Re: Please Help! Unable to to mount SD card...

Sure, I'll try. Sorry if I dumb it down too much.

Anything that is in quotes, don't type them!

Download the Android SDK and extract (I'm guessing you've already done this)
Turn off your phone
Plug in your phone through USB to the PC
Power on the phone while holding the volume down button
Choose Fastboot from the menu and do nothing else with the phone
Click Start > Run (XP) or Start > All Programs > Accessories > Run (Vista and 7)
Type "cmd" and press Enter
Type "cd \" and press Enter
Navigate to the folder where you extracted the SDK (ex. C:\Android-SDK-Windows)
So if it were in the location above (you could always extract again and put it there)
cd Andriod-SDK-Windows > Enter OR cd an [press the tab key] > Enter
Type "fastboot oem enableqxdm 0" and press Enter
Type "fastboot reboot" and press Enter
Done

Let me know if that works for you.

Hey man, tried that method many times as well as a terminal I got from the market. I put in the codes and told me it was not permitted or denied. This sucks man, back to being a rook lol.

Re: Please Help! Unable to to mount SD card...

Did you try formatting the card? Try taking it off the phone and put it on a card reader and format it from there OR connect the phone to your computer and when you get the popup select 'use as disk drive'... windows should notify you that the card needs formatting and you just click OK and then Start then OK.

That sounds like you aren't rooted, or at least not properly.

So how would I know if I am rooted? I flashed omjs rom and it worked. The superuser access icon was there. Then after not being able to enable the sd or usb. I went ahead and tried rooting it again (PC36IMG.zip). Now its back to the sprint rom, but still no sd or usb.
