Backbeat headset won't connect

Has anyone tried to connect a Backbeat headset to their Evo? Pairing goes okay, but they won't connect to each other. I went in to Bluetooth settings and clicked on the Backbeat to try and force it to connect, but it just comes back and says Bluetooth headset disconnected. Anyone have any ideas?

I tried that, a few times. It pairs fine with anything else. Weird.

Re: Backbeat headset won't connect

Nevermind. I power cycled the Evo for the second time and it suddenly started to work. Weird.

Re: Backbeat headset won't connect

I initially had this problem when pairing the EVO and backbeat the very first time. Since then though I have not had any issues.

Re: Backbeat headset won't connect

I'm having the same issue, running CyanogenMod 6. I don't think this ROM is the issue as I'm able to connect my older Plantronics 855 without any problem.

I've tried power cycling, unpairing and re-pairing. I really like the headset, but if I can't use it with my phone, it is not worth keeping.

Any further tips/advice?

Thx,

D

Re: Backbeat headset won't connect

I didn't have any issue with my 855 and with my backbeat when I got them. Strange.
