He's saying he's going to try and double dip and see if it works. Best Buy is instant. You can't get the mail-in-rebate without having it active on the line that was eligible for upgrade for 30 days straight. If you esn swap for even one day it automatically voids the MIR.

You have a slim chance at slipping through the cracks but why chance it. Go to Best Buy or The SHACK and get it there. Yea they activate it, but take it home and swap to a different ESN. It worked for me and I didn't have to wait 6-8 weeks for a rebate! What's there to lose?

Instant, with activation.

The thing about the rebate is that they put it on hold and do not approve it until after the 30 days of activation have gone by.

You swap ESNs you lose your warranty with the manf and sprint. Thats a carrier wide thing...not just Sprint.
