Re: HTC EVO Battery Drain Signal Fix

Re: HTC EVO Battery Drain Signal Fix
I think I figured out what worked for me:
1. I did the GSM to CDMA fix on the phone. 2. I then did the HTC suggested battery fix on my TP2 Battery but not the EVO battery. This is why My TP2 Battery was preforming so well. After testing the 2, I found the EVO battery was still having issues. 3. I then preformed the HTC suggested fix on my EVO battery and all seems to be well. They both seem to be holding up the same now. These were the steps I took: 1. With the phone on, I charged till indicator was green. 2. Disconnected the phone from charger and then powered off. 3. With the phone off, I charged till indicator was green. 4. Disconnected the phone from charger and then powered on. 5. Repeated steps 1 & 2. 6. Done. I did the same as you by continuing to charge alternating on and off waiting for it to be green immediately but after the 10th time I figured that was enough. Still seems to have made a big difference. |
