Re: Dead/stuck pixels on my evo!

I don't think I could live with that. My TP2 has 1 dead/stuck pixel and it annoyed the hell outta me.

BB might have a thing where it has to be so many pixels to qualify...they did on LCD's when I worked there a few years ago.

Re: Dead/stuck pixels on my evo!

My tp2 had about 7 or 8 dead pixels and it really didn't bother me to much. I probably wouldn't have notice if didn't know what to look for.

Trust me once you know there on there, you will never stop looking at them, take it back and get it exchanged.

Re: Dead/stuck pixels on my evo!

I had one on my Hero and it drove me CRAZY!! I got Sprint to exchange it, but I had to be super sweet for it to happen, which is hard for me

Soooo try being super sweet LOL

Re: Dead/stuck pixels on my evo!

I either have one on my evo or a small spec of dust/dirt. it's a bit annoying, but I'm still deciding what to do.

Exchange it... What has been seen cannot be unseen.

Re: Dead/stuck pixels on my evo!

I agree, exchange it. I wouldn't be able to live with that. If I had one dead pixel I would exchange mine if at all possible. I'm a little OCD about stuff like that and one dead/stuck pixel, small as it may be, would look like a giant gaping hole once I knew it was there.

Re: Dead/stuck pixels on my evo!

if it's not a widespread issue like as was the case with the touch pro2, i'd return it. If it is widespread and the stuck pixels are very small (rather than the large clustered ones that some people get, very visible), then i'd just say screw it and hold onto it. Ha, i'm just waiting for the threads and polls to flood in for stuck pixel topics now...
