Conspiracy theory: what happened to the EVO 4G vs. iPhone 4 post?

Everyone go vote for the EVO... if you want....don't let these ifanboys win!... The poll was ripped down yesterday..but its back. So do it up!

I was in the latter group, but not around when that post was written or put up on the site. As a result, when I came back and saw it had been posted, I pulled. Not because the EVO 4G was winning in the poll. Not because it said nice things about the EVO 4G. I pulled it simply because I didn't think it was fair to make the comparison yet. In hindsight, we should have made that clear from the start, and I apologize.

So, the post will go back up... once we've had a chance to look at both phones completely. In the meantime, the poll is below, and we seriously have no preference on which phone wins. Do your worst guys.

Not surprised. there are millions of Iphone users out there. Honestly for it to be within 15% is impressive if you asked me. LOL

damn they didnt even bother to at least wipe that gigantic smudge off the evo before taking that pic! engadget does have some good articles sometimes but they dont even try hard to hide their bias to the iphone.

That doesn't mean squat. There are millions more Windows users than there are Linux users, but does that automatically mean Windows is in any way superior to Linux? Hell no. It just means people will believe anything they see in advertising without researching for themselves and have become so comfortable with their normal way of doing things they're too apprehensive about thinking outside the box. It's just an effective brainwashing tactic led by biased advertising. Let the sheeple have their iPhone and be content with a mediocre device at best. We all know better. I'll go on and enjoy the freedom and superiority which is Android.

wow looks like the iphone 4 is pulling away..... the worst part is that the people voting havent used the iphone and we dont know what bugs or problems will arise when released.... i guess we will see if it can hold up to the hype.
