Hide the stock battery indicator?

Anyone know of a way you can hide the little color battery indicator in the notification bar? I have another one that I use that I prefer, but it shows both.

I'm using Battery Indicator. It shows an actual percentage in the notification bar instead of a graphical color one. If also gives more battery details.

Had it ever been done on any other Android phone before? Cuz if it has, thst would be a start.
