Another day, another issue. (FM Radio not working)

My FM radio doesn't work. At all.

At first I thought it was just me being out in the boonies trying to get an FM station. Right now, I'm 15 miles from the radio stations and still pick up nothing.

Is there a special type of headset I have to use? My EVO didn't come with any so I figured any normal ear buds would work.

Normal Wired earbuds should work. Have you tried resetting your phone?

Not all wired earbuds work. I have some Sennheiser CX400-II that don't work, but they have a volume slider on them. My cheap $8 Sony headphones work though. lol

EDIT: Hmm it appears they do work if I pull the cord straight...weird.

I was about to say.....lol all wired headphones should work all thy do is provide the anteni for the radio.

It seems to be kinda hit or miss on whether they work or not. It's weird....

Yeah doesnt work for me either... very faint reception if i pull chord but thats not realistic

make sure they are pushed in all the way because my FM is working fine. Im using Scull Candy ear buds with a volume adjuster.

I have a set of Shure earbuds and when I tried them yesterday, FM was just static. I had use my wife's cheap over the head 1980's headphones the day before and it worked great.
