Free WIFI tether works !!!!now with infrastructure mode.

I just installed it and it installed fine. I just can't get the computer to recognize the phone as a wifi router. Any suggestions?

edit: I had a older version. Found the new version on xda and it's working fine.

I am also having an issue. I rooted with unrevoked 3.21 and installed wireless tether. The app starts a wireless connection and the pc connects to the wireless network but it does not give me internet on the pc. Can anybody help with this?

Does anyone have an issue with this where it will work for a while, then it will stop working but the phone says it is till connected BUT the laptop shows no more wireless? I have to press the stop button on the tether program and then start it up again and then it works for a while. I know I have seen other posts about this but no resolution. Someone said this happens when the phone gets too hot? I dont know if that is the case for me. I do have a SEDIO 2 piece black case on it (very thin)

It does happen to me as well and it does seem to be related on the temperature. Having a plastic case on will definitely make your phone run hotter. Next time try removing your case before running your wireless tether app. It might still stop working at some point as this app seems to overheat the phone but it will definitely take much longer for that to happen.

try to choose one of the options that pop outs on ut pc/laptop. like home network, bussines etc.. i tought the same but i didnt notice of the pop out then i select homw network n connetc to the internet

Hey I can get the wifi tether to run, but for some reason it only gives me .04 kbs for the download..any help?

so i get the wifi tether to start on my phone, but when i search for the network on my laptop, the network doesn't show up. anyone else run into this issue?

I'm sure someone posted this before but just use easyteather works usb even if your not rooted.
