I am running Fresh Evo 0.3 ROM. I've also tried this on OMJ Eclair 1.4 as well as MikROM's and got the same error.

That's what I have going on. I'm using OMJ's right now. I'm going to try and upgrade to 1.5.

I had the same error, I just unistalled it and reinstalled it and now it works. Im also using OMJ newest ROM.

Does anybody get this error that "wifi teather started with errors check log" so I check the log and it states that it has failed to start wifi, set channel, start adhoc. But it is up and running?

I just flashed OMJ v1.6 rom on the phone still get same error.

Alright just in case anybody else runs into this issue I have solved it. It might have been obvious to some. Any way just follow the directions on the xda link as far as the adb shell commands and after I did that it all worked. So hopefully that will help somebody if they ran into the wifi tethering starting with errors.

I did all the adb commands, went to the unrevoked site, downloaded the wireless tether program, and now when I run the tethering program it says it doesnt know the status of the phone and try to reboot. after I reboot, I get the same error. if I push the start tethering button again it just says unable to start tethering please try again.

I never got to say yes to the super command or super access what ever it should say.

I can stream Netflix movies through the Roku box, on 3G, just as glitch-free on the free app as I did on the HotSpot.

Mine is cap on 3g to 40kb using this app without it i get 200kb paying for it

40 kb that must suck... on 3g on average I get about 325 kb/sec
