Hi Guys,

Is there any way of setting this up in infrastructure mode. Seems that the OEM hotspot has this ability. I haven't been able to set it up on the free one only Adhoc?

I cant get my net to work..my laptop connects but there isnt any net.

Have you tried the new version of wifi tether...the one that isnt on the market?

I'd uninstall your old one first... install this..reboot...try.

The yellow shield is letting you know a device is connected. The access control disabled means that any device can connect. You can set it to only allow certain devices based on MAC address, I believe, if you wanted to make it more secure.

the thread i created how to make it work is great, no issues. i havent tried it in 4g though.

Well you could goto the market and download an uninstaller or goto applications in the settings and uninstall it. I can't tell you the exact steps..don't get my new EVO until tomorrow....
