anyone having probs deleting a downloaded app?

downloaded a chess game from the market and decided I didn't like a few things about it and that I just don't have time to play something like that. tried to delete it several times (including delete it and restart the phone) and couldn't. any ideas other than a hard reset?

Re: anyone having probs deleting a downloaded app?

So UNinstalling isn't working?
Settings/applications/manage applications and uninstall

Also make sure the app isn't open when trying to get rid of it.

Re: anyone having probs deleting a downloaded app?

There is also a nice program in the marketplace called Uninstaller that works really well making sure everything is properly removed.

yeah, I'm totally willing to admit when I pull an idiot move, and I definitely did with this one. I blame phone overload though! *L* trying to absorb as much as I can with this bit of ubergoodness makes me forget some (read a lot) of things at times.
