why are there so few details about unrevoked? I knew absolutly nothing about rooting an android device and when I found about unrevoked i knew it was the choice for me but the fact they i could find no info on it or how it worked raised red flags for me. I decided to go the more complicated route... I followed these

100% with ya on this, it is really weird how when you ask no one knows anything.. I posted a thread about it at like 5 day before yesterday and it got 1000 views but no responses lol. This is kinda dumb. I'm just going to wait till I get some answers, because I can't even see a benefit to rooting considering the roms are buggy.

Re: unrevoked root released

There is no reason to root at this point. Really, none at all, period. 4G tethering is free through Sprint through July. There is going to be another root released shortly (hopefully) that is a true NAND root, not these crappy half assed roots that give some things but not others and are buggy.

Seriously, what else are you doing right now that you need root for? Running a crap buggy 2.2 ROM?

Just wait.
