Re: unrevoked root released

Are we sure that using the Unrevoked kills 4g? I did some reading and a lot of people said that it did not...

Re: unrevoked root released

my main reason for rooting was for tethering, but since i use pdanet free, i have no need for it as of now. besides, i'd rather we into the rooting matures

Breaking 4G and Market it BS. Using it right now, and like I said earlier, I've already applied the root.

There isn't anyone in a 4G area that can confirm or deny the root breaking 4G? Really??

Re: unrevoked root released

Just installed the unrevoked root. I also installed the OTA update just before-hand since the unrevoked guys said it wouldn't be a problem. My phone still works fine with 4g in San Antonio. Sprint WiFi tether also appears to be working. Just set it up and turned it on. I can see it with my laptop but haven't switched over from my Time Warner router yet.

No, it does not break 4G, that is complete BS.

I just got 4206kbps down and 1030kbps up on 4G post-root.

EDIT - here, check my speeds:

the bottom 2 are 3G, the top, including my referenced 4206 are above...

Re: unrevoked root released

that is some fast 3g you have. I tested over my wifi @ home with 25/25 connection and get 6997/2333, so the phone is only able to handle so much ;/ .
